At Sunflower Central we believe that creative writing is a powerful and passionate

the 'Contribute' section. We regularly receive submissions from all over the world (literally!) and with varied styles,

What kind of poetry can you send to Sunflower Central?
All kinds of poetry! There are no hard and fast rules with regards to style and subject - we want the creative freedom to remain firmly in the hands of the writer.
What is flash fiction?
This is a type of short story that generally is up to 1000 words long and tells a short, quirky and imaginative piece on a particular subject or theme. Sunflower Central also accepts the 'traditional' short stories and puts them up on the site too!
It's great for our readers who want a burst of creativity with meaning and substance that tells the reader a bit of a story.
Does Sunflower Central only accept professional writers?
Definitely not! We accept and display submissions from writers at all levels and all ages and are proud to show case the creative work of those just dabbling around in a bit of creativity as well as those who write professionally. Put simply: this site is for All!

SMALL GROWING COMMUNITY
The website started out as a few poems amongst a few friends. Over recent months it has expanded and we are continually growing from strength to strength - but only with support from our visitors and creative contributors.
